FAQ

Q: What should I bring with me on tour?

A: Please limit your belongings to a single tote bag or backpack. Our recommended list of items to bring on the tour are:

  • Swim wear (optional)

  • Water Shoes (optional)

  • Charge cords

  • Cash for souvenirs and gratuity

  • Towels 

  • Reef-safe sunscreen

  • Bug Spray

We have curated a list just for you with all the 'Hana Travel Essentials' that you will need for an enjoyable day on the road to Hana! Shop any of our local Maui made products, opt for 'pickup' at checkout and your driver will deliver your items to you the day of your tour! 

 

Q: What should we wear?

A: Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

Q: Are there places to change after swimming?

A: There are restrooms at both swimming locations.

Q: What is your cancellation/refund policy?

A: Our refund policy is hassle-free if you notify us of your change of plans more than 48 hours before the tour date. Due to the possibility of inclement weather in Maui, if we determine that it is unsafe to conduct the tour, you can choose to reschedule or receive a full refund. Please note that no-shows are not eligible for refunds.

Q: Do you offer private tours?

A: Yes, we offer private tours that limit the van exclusively to you and your party. However, please note that the tour itinerary is pre-set and not customizable. If you're interested in booking a private tour, please call 808-871-2740.

Q: What meals are included on the tour?

A: We provide a selection of sub sandwiches or veggie wraps along with snacks, water, and soft drinks that are readily available throughout the day during the tour.

Q: Is breakfast included?

A. We don't provide breakfast, but we do make a stop where you can purchase coffee and breakfast if you'd like.

Q: How many passengers does your van carry?

A: We have 9 to 14 passanger vans 

Q: Do you provide car seats?

A: Children's car seats and booster seats are available at no additional cost, though you are welcome to bring your own. In compliance with Hawaii state law, children from 0 to 4 years old must use a car seat, while those from 5 to 10 years old must use a booster seat, unless they are already 4 feet 10 inches tall.

Q: My hotel/resort is not in the list of pickup locations? How can I complete my reservation?

A: To finalize your booking, please indicate the name and address of your lodging in the comments section and select a nearby hotel. We will confirm if a pickup can be arranged before your tour date, otherwise we will meet at our designated meeting point in Kahului.

Q: We arrive to Maui on a cruise ship. Can we do an excursion from there?

A: Yes, we do pickup and return to the Kahului Harbor. 

Q: What is the pick-up schedule?

A. Listed below are estimated pick-up and drop-off times. As a disclaimer, there are many factors and variables that determine the times of arrival and drop offs. The early start time allows us to get ahead of the crowd so you can enjoy the stops that we make with as few people as possible. We will contact you the day before your tour to confirm your exact pickup time.
